Anti-Drying Kettle Thermostat technology provides a thermal protection function for electric water heating appliances by responding to abnormal temperature increases when insufficient water is present. Under normal conditions, water absorbs heat generated by the heating element. When the water supply is inadequate, the element can become hot much faster. A properly integrated thermal control component can detect this unusual temperature condition and interrupt the electrical circuit, helping reduce the chance of overheating and component damage.
